DCI Toys For Tots

DCI Toys 4 Tots Charity Event: FDR Park Philadelphia, Pa

This years Toys for Tots event presented by DCI and the National Guard was a great success with the amount of cars in attendance and in donations.A total of 893 toys were donated, $182 was donated to the skate park  and $150 was donated to the marines from cupcake sales. Although it was mainly created for Volkswagens and Audi, every type of car enthusiasts was invited for the good cause.

from beat up 90's hatchbacks to $100,000 plus supercars, every car is appreciated and supported the event
Although my Gli had major body damage from an accident a week prior, I managed to get it down to the event and get a decent photo of it while hiding the front end damage
Here Is Kevin Cassavaugh's New Mk3 Gti Vr6, helping represent Sixonelow along with a couple few cars and myself.
This Blue Lagoon GLI was real head turner with the crazy stance and that custom European sized Pa plate
I spoke with the owner and he told me he just got the new wheels in the mail only 2 days before the event and plans to get the front even lower over the winter to get it to match the height of the rear of the car
The event was a huge success and the day had great weather, great cars, good times, and a overall laid back meet up to talk about cars and end the 2012 show season on a good note

Even this very cool slammed Subaru Forester showed up for the event,
Talk about not your usual soccer mom!

Im looking forward to next years Toys for Tots event here, hopefully with my gli in alot better shape for showing and a bigger following for Sixonelow and able to give out free stickers and selling t-shirts to get the word out for the Lehigh valley's newest car enthusiast's site
