Stepping on Up - Brians Mk4 Wolfsburg Jetta

The mk4 scene has a wide variety of styles and projects. each car and their owner decides which direction they want to go, either mild or wild.

Brian Billings chose the subtle OEM+ route while focusing on the details as he takes a bone stock Wolfsburg into his goal of his dream daily driver.. all on a budget.

Although the car appears to be on air suspension, it is in fact static and Brian drives this everyday.

The car looks primarily stock on the exterior, but Brian is not focused on the looks of his car as much as the performance of the car. He has done a lot of work into tweaking the performance of the factory parts and engines internals.

Right away Brian looked to improve the airflow of the car, both in and out of the engine, He put a full 3 inch turboback exhaust with a test pipe along with upgraded turbo piping that is connected to his aftermarket side mount intercooler.

Brian explained that he did not want to do a traditional front mount intercooler like the majority of owners because he enjoys to keep the sleeper aspect of his car, he told me enjoys lining up against owners of Subaru WRX's and other fast cars and surprising them with what his little "Girls car" jetta can really do.

Brian is planning on lowering the car even more for next years season, he is planning to install IDF drop plate in the
rear to add some camber for the rear
tires to clear the fenders. He is also
planning on removing the helper springs in his goal to get the car as low as possible without switching to air-ride suspension.

This car isn't for looks though, Brian is also Going to be upgrading his turbo to a bigger one with more work to the ECU for the engine to create much more power and max out what is possible on the engines stock internal parts
